Word of Honor

"I have been asked what i mean by 'word of honor'. I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls-of stone ever so high, ever so far into the ground-there is a possibility that in some way or another i might be able to escape, but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can i get out of that circle? No, Never! i'd die first"

What this means is the if you give your word you cant get out of it. If you give your word to be  home at 7 you  must honor your word and be home at 7. Honoring your word is like being in a circle you cant get out of it without honoring your word first. This means from jail you could always escape or get out of it but from giving your word you cant.  You must give your word and accomplish before you can get out of the circle. If not you must die first because one should always honor their word an do what they were told and do what they promised and gave their word to.
