  What matters most is character. People look at you and look for character not intellect. For example, when someone goes sees you play in your sport game they look for talent, character, and grades. To impress them like the basketball player did he offered his fellow teammates some water before playing which caught the attention of the one watching him which made him want him in his team. This proves that a good character will benefit you at all cost being a good person will get you somewhere you want.
